Entirely, fully, completely capable

Talent is a dangerous word.

We might hear it and think, “we have some, others have more, so therefore they’re better than I am”.

But if you’re a video game character, ‘Talent’ isn’t a stat. ‘Skill’ is a stat.

‘Talent’ is the starting balance of ‘Skill’ that your character comes with.

Characters starting without a starting balance, can outpace those who did, by training their ‘Skill’ stat.

Outside of sport, this is true for most people, at most levels of play.

You are entirely, fully, completely capable.

You always have been.
