Making great things

Some great ideas take years to form, and years longer to produce.

Others take a few months and release to near-immediate windfalls.

I’ve experienced both first-hand. You’d think the latter is better.

Most of the time, the former is vastly more fulfilling.

Most of the time, I’d take the former over the latter.

Which do you prefer? The answer may reveal something about what you value more: making great things, or what making great things sometimes results in.
