Probably won't work

“That idea probably won’t work.”

I’ve heard that more times than I’d have liked.

From when I was very young, through to adulthood.

Fortunately, I never listened to it.

Fortunately, I proved it wrong, at least every time I can remember.

People have a habit of believing things they’ve seen done before, and without too much effort.

They tend to have a harder time believing things that sit beyond the horizon of today’s potential.

That idea probably won’t work.

Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try anyway.
