On not getting old

I have toys from my childhood on display in my home.

I’m not 4 anymore. But my son will be soon, and I want the same childlike wonder, optimism, and can-do attitude that 4 year olds have, even as I approach 40.

Getting old isn’t about numbers, it’s about how we interact with the world around us.

And as someone who creates worlds, characters, stories and growth experiences, it’s really important that I don’t “get old”.

So I won’t.
