Optimising for amateur

To an amateur photographer, a good photo is perfectly sharp, brightly coloured, devoid of shadows, with all imperfections generatively erased.

To many actual photographers, a good photo captures the story of a moment in life, with its warts and defects proudly on display.

I think about this when I see small business owners vibecoding their tools to save a couple hundred dollars a year, or when small town communities generate village hall posters.
